Star Plus’ long-running show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Directors’ Kut) has certainly turned actors into very popular household names. While the popularity of Karan Mehra and Hina Khan has increased manifold owing to the success of the show, the young guns have come in and have made a mark for themselves.

Yes, we are talking about Rohan Mehra who essays the very important role of Naitik and Akshara’s son. 

For Rohan, this day seems to be nostalgic as he completes one year with the show. 

Aww, happy moment indeed!!

Says Rohan, Yes, I have completed a year and 300 episodes with Yeh Rishta. The experience has been amazing, right from the beginning. My first year started with a track in Cape Town and ends with one in Hong Kong (smiles).”

Talking about his pleasant memories, he states, “I have got a huge fan following. I have made family relations with my co-actors. So overall the year has been good and I have had an amazing time. The icing on the cake was that our show crossed the 2000 mark, and we made history. I am glad to be part of this history.”

On his sweet rewards for his hard work, Rohan avers, “Yes, the awards have been coming. I got the Star Parivaar Award for the Best Debut, and Rising Star Award at the Kalakar Awards. I performed at the Big Star Awards and Star Parivaar Awards. So the experience has been humongous.”
