MUMBAI: The powerhouse of Indian Idol Season 11, Rohit Raut has not only made people of Maharashtra proud with his vocal prowess, but his energetic performances seem to be making an impact across India. In the upcoming episode of the singing reality show, which will be graced by Kartik Aaryan and the very pretty Sara Ali Khan to promote their upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal 2, Rohit’s performance is certainly a highlight. He will be seen singing the popular song, ‘Bekhayali’ featuring Shahid Kapoor in the movie, Kabir Singh and the talented singer could not control his emotions while performing. Rohit claims to have been through a similar situation two years back and it was extremely difficult for him to move on after a break-up from his past relationship.

So much so, Rohit, owing to his disturbed state of mind then, had taken a break from singing and composing. It was only a few months later when Rohit realized the importance to move on and continue to pursue his passion for music. However, the dilemma has only got the best out of the young singer as he could express all his emotions with this heart-wrenching performance. Interestingly, Rohit was afraid to sing the song as he knew it gets him emotional, but the brave performer stunned everyone on the set with his performance.

Kartik Aryan, especially, was moved and complimented him saying, “This was a performance which had all the emotions - love, hurt and passion. I am really glad that I could see this performance of yours live. You are superb singer. Hats off to you.”

Judge Neha Thakkar also joined him to praise Rohit Raut for the spectacular performance, “We could really see you were feeling the song. I think you should have concerts as everyone should get to listen to you live and see what kind of aura you create when you are performing.”
