MUMBAI: After painting the town red with cute pictures with wife Anita Hassanandani on social media, Rohit Reddy has upped his game with his acting debut. It seems like finally, the stud has been bitten by the acting bug; he will be seen in an upcoming mobile phone commercial.

The commercial will be directed by ace actor and Rohit’s close friend Shiv Pandit. Shiv was ecstatic about stepping into the shoes of a director for good friend Rohit. Shiv said, ‘I don’t have any professional training in this field. I’ve tried to pick up bits and pieces of how to execute a shoot as a director from time on set as an actor by observing my directors. Everything became easy as Rohit was on board.’

The multi-talented Rohit also happens to execute, produce, and conceptualize the commercial apart from featuring in the same. Excited about his acting debut, Rohit said ‘It’s my first ever stint. I’ve refused a few offers in television and web series, but this was quite interesting and was right up my alley.’

We contacted Anita for her reaction on Rohit’s acting debut. She said, ‘Initially, when i learned that he is going to make his acting debut, I laughed, because the idea of him working in front of the camera was pretty new to me. Rohit is a person who gives his 200% to whatever he does and I won’t be surprised if he starts getting movie offers”.
