For singer Rohit Shastri, Producers Rahul Kumar Tewary and Siddharth Kumar Tewary are the incarnations of God, as they showed him the right path to success when he was down and out, literally struggling to make a way for himself as a singer. When Rohit was completely broken, creators of the magnum opus show Mahabharat on Star Plus told him to join them and get on board of team Mahabharat. From here, the rest has been history for the man. Rohit has not only sung songs for the show, but has also gone on to work as the Associate Creative Head (ACH) for Mahabharat from day one. Talking about his fruitful journey, Rohit told Tellychakkar.com, “Mahabharat and my association with Rahul and Siddharth Sir have been a life-changing experience. As a singer I was struggling hard to make both ends meet when I came across Rahul Sir. When I asked him for advice, he studied my talent and asked me to join his team on the show Mahabharat. I would say he took the perfect decision for me, and there has been no looking back.” On his achievements as a singer in Mahabharat, the lad from Indore said, “I will always be thankful to Siddharth Sir for accepting my new voice. I put in quite a lot of efforts, and used to sit with my creative team and writers to know of the nuances of the song I had to sing. I have got the chance of singing many beautiful songs in the series. The number ‘Krishna Murali Manohar’ happens to be one of them. It is a nearly four minutes long song which got appreciated a lot. The number ‘Jagat Main Samay Maha Balwan’ which has been used at various situations of storytelling depicting the importance of time has also been a good experience. Overall, it has been a fascinating journey being part of Mahabharat.” On his future plans, the singer said, “Well, my dream is to become a playback singer. I have always been in talks with Rahul and Siddharth Sir for advice and I will soon chalk out plans to make it big as singer in films too.” We buzzed Producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary about Rohit and he said, “Rohit is a bright talent and has done a fabulous job.
