Seasoned actor Roma Bali is simply furious after reading our Tellychakkar.com exclusive news on the infamous spat between actor Sanjay Nath and director Santram Verma on the sets of the upcoming Colors show, Naagin.

No, she is not upset about such an article coming out. She’s in fact angry that no action is being taken against such an arrogant director like Santram Verma.

Says Roma, “Santram is a very arrogant director who does not have the sense to talk and to respect senior actors. The man is full of attitude. I have faced a similar humiliating situation with him, while shooting for a show in Amritsar.”

Yes, it is still an unknown fact that Roma Bali was very recently finalized for a prime role on a popular GEC show, but ultimately got replaced.

Narrates Roma, “We were in Amritsar for the promo shoot of a show. I was very much excited about my role, as it was really challenging. However, Santram had an issue with the actors present, and ridiculed us saying that we were not the right choices for the characters. I could not stand the harassment, and objected to his behaviour. Ultimately, he made an announcement that either he would be part of the show, or I would continue. I was very happy to walk out of the show, as I would not have been able to work with such a terrorizing person in the team. I am glad I left the show. I then got Udann, and I enjoyed being part of it. I made a mark in the show, as the TRPs got up during my stint.”

Roma continues to say, “I am bringing all this to the open now, because I want justice for actors, who want to work with self respect. Even the production house does not care as it will be a loss of work for them. My question is why can’t a director like this be boycotted and taught a lesson for this kind of behaviour. Shooting on sets was considered to be a happy creative field, where actors were given due respect. But now it has become a nuisance; just because our co-actors are quiet owing to an insecurity factor running, few actors are losing money as well as their self respect. I am so angry with all this, and want to raise a voice against such unruly acts.”

We tried buzzing Director Santram Verma to know more about this incident with Roma, but he did not revert to us.
