Actress Ruma Sharma who was last seen essaying the role of Ridhima in MTV’s popular show, Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan recently shot for an emotional story for Colors’ Code Red.

Produced by Sunshine Rise Productions, the story will deal with a young happy-go-lucky girl who will see the end of life, and will be forced into the dark tunnel of death before time, by her exploitative boy friend.

The story will narrate the tale of the girl Shreya, essayed by Ruma who would be killed just for the sake of money, by her own boy friend who would intend selling the girl’s lungs and kidneys post her death for a huge price.

Youngster Hitesh Bharadwaj will be seen playing the ruthless boyfriend to Shreya.

When contacted, Ruma told us, “Yes, I recently shot for an episodic of Code Red. It was really a heart-touching story, and I ended up crying a lot when I was asked to portray the emotions on-screen.”
