Film and TV actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, son of Anjana Mumtaz, who is being appreciated for his role in Kehta hai Dil…Jee Le Zara on Sony Entertainment television, has been signed for a comedy film Romeo Idiot Jathani Juliet.
Without getting into the details of the film, Ruslaan said, "I have signed a comedy flick named Romeo Idiot Jathani Juliet. In this, I will be playing Mumbaite who falls in love with a Haryanvi girl."
Citing the reason why he took up the film, the Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar (MP3) actor said, "I signed the film as I liked the script. Now, I am shooting for both the film as well as my TV show simultaneously.”
Earlier it so happened that after his films Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar, Tere Sang, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai and I Don't Luv U didn’t do well at the box office, Ruslaan took to television and signed for Kehta hai Dil… Jee Le Zara. And it is with this show that he’s found success.
