MUMBAI : Rashmi Sharma is all set to bring back season 2 of her popular TV show Saath Nibhana Saathiya. She recently shared the good news with the audience and now the channel also released their first promo starring Devoleena Bhattacharjee in it.

The show which had a successful run of seven long years had Giaa Manek, later Devoleena Bhattacharjee (Gopi), Rupal Patel (Kokilaben), Rucha Hasbanis (Rashi), Mohammad Nazim (Ahem) and Vishal Singh (Jigar) in the star cast. However, in the upcoming season, only a few characters of the Modi family will be retained in the show and all new faces will be on board. The previous season revolved around Gopi (Devoleena) but this time she will not be the central character but a new face will step in.

A source informs a portal, "Rashmi Sharma has yet not found the right girl to play the character of Gehna. Though auditions are on and the promo of Devoleena has also been released discussing her name but they haven't roped in anyone yet. The casting process is taking time as Rashmi doesn't want to cast a familiar face for this role. And just like Giaa Manek and Devoleena Bhattacharjee she wants to introduce someone with the same innocence."

The first promo of the show is already breaking the Internet where Gopi (Devoleena) is greeting all the fans of the show. After saying, “Jai Shri Krishna,” the whistle of the cooker in the kitchen blows out and Gopi Bahu aka Devoleena introduces the new character of Gehna in the show.
