SAD! Radha Krishn fame Kartikey Malviya reveals how the pandemic spoilt his future study plans

Radha Krishn actor Kartikey Malviya gets candid about his future study plans.

MUMBAI: The COVID pandemic has affected mankind in every way. We are seeing how schools have been shut for more than a year now and there's still no clarity about the upcoming exams that needs to be conducted for the students.

Everyone is facing a hard time, especially students who are in a fix on how to prepare for the exams with so much uncertainty in the situation.

Child actor Kartikey Malviya, who is seen in Star Bharat's show Radha Krishn is presently shooting in Umbergaon for the show. The lockdown in Maharashtra is not lifted yet, which has left the makers with no choice but to shift their shooting base out of Maharashtra.

Kartikey is managing both his work and studies and is quite anxious like all students about his upcoming CBSE exams. The uncertainty over the exams is making it tougher for the youngsters.

“The exams were supposed to take place in May, but they were postponed owing to the second wave of COVID-19. Right now, it's not very clear when the exams will be conducted," he says.

He will also need to inform the production house in advance about his exam dates so that they make the necessary changes in the storyline.

The Shani actor added, "If the exams take place online, it will be fine. If it's offline, I will have to make some other arrangement in terms of my travel from Umbergaon to Mumbai. Also, I'll have to take a COVID test each time I travel to Mumbai for my exam.''

Further, Karitkey reveals, "I stopped for a month, but I will have to start again because what if the exams are scheduled sometime soon and I am not prepared. This is an important year that decides the future of a student. It's sad that the year is just passing by and is filled with so much uncertainty.''

Kartikey wants to do a course in filmmaking in the future. He wanted to go abroad to study but the pandemic has spoiled his plans.

“I had places like New York in mind but now I think I'll do my course in Mumbai so that whenever I am shooting, I can take a break and finish my projects. Honestly, I am still confused and my parents have left it to me to decide, so let's see.''
