SAD! These shows had the SHORTEST journey on the television screens

A lot of television shows were abruptly ended which came as a huge shocker for the viewers as well as the show's star cast.

MUMBAI: The year 2020 and 2021 was a challenging phase for the entire world. 

With the Covid-19 pandemic hitting the entire globe, everyone's life came to a standstill for a few months. 

However, things have got better with time and everything is getting back to normal.

The entertainment industry faced a huge crisis as shootings were halted for several months. 

A lot of television shows were abruptly taken ended which came as a huge shocker for the viewers as well as the show's star cast.

Even now, many television shows have come and gone within the blink of an eye leaving the viewers shocked. 

So, let's take a look at the list of shows that had the shortest journey on television:

1. Lakshmi Ghar Aayi 

Star Bharat's show started airing from 5th July onwards this year and within the span of 2 months, it went off-air. The show aired its last episode on 17th September. The series starred Akshit Sukhija and Simran Pareenja in the lead roles. 

2.  Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein

The crossover of Naagin hit the small screens on 7th February this year. The show had great expectations. However, with just 13 episodes aired, the makers decided to pull off the strings. Kuch Toh Hai bid adieu to the viewers on 21st March. It had Krishna Mukherjee and Harsh Rajput in the lead roles. 

3. Ram Pyaare Sirf Humare

The comedy-drama series hit the small screens on 5th October with actors like Shamin Manan, Nikhil Khurana, Shiny Dixit among others in pivotal roles. With extremely low TRPs, the show was taken off-air on 12th December. 

4.  Akbar Ka Bal Birbal

The multi-starrer show had great expectations from the fans. However, it was abruptly axed midway by the channel on 23 October 2020 due to its low TRPs. But on 18 November 2020, it started telecasting its remaining few bank episodes on the morning slot.

5. Teri Laadli Main

The Star Bharat's show had only aired 78 episodes and bid adieu to the viewers. The series went off air abruptly without conclusion on 22 April 2021 due to its very low TRP ratings and due to global COVID-19 pandemic situation.

6. Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby

Karan Khanna and Gouri Agarwal starrer show had aired just 55 episodes and it was taken off-air. The show aired on Star Bharat. 

7. Kartik Purnima 

Harsh Nagar and Paulomi Das starrer show was halted abruptly due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown on 27 March 2020. Later, it was announced that the show will not be brought back after lockdown due to the Star Bharat channel revamp due to low viewership which lead the show to an abrupt ending.
