Tellychakkar.com has been constantly reporting about the programming changes shaping up at Sahara One and the latest is that the channel has decided to pull the plug on Impact Tele Network Pvt. Ltd’s Aakhir Bahu Bhi Toh Beti Hee Hai. We had earlier reported about the channel not being too sure about retaining the show after Entertainment Hub took over the management. The cast and crew of Aakhir stopped shooting only to re start last week. Little did they know that they will be hit by the off air news today. "Yes, we are going off air. I received a text message from our production house about the same today," said an upset Payal Rajput best known as Sia in the show. One of the main reasons of the show being pulled off air is said to be budgetary issues between the channel and the makers. The shooting for the show has stopped but episodes will air for another week (episodic bank). “I am extremely upset with this news. I so wanted the show to go on,” said Payal. Aryan Pandit aka Samar said, “We were given leave of two days as the channel wanted to discuss on the storyline. But now comes the off air news. I will miss my co stars.” We tried reaching Rajeev Sharma, Business Head of Impact, but he remained unavailable. We hear Entertainment Hub's upcoming next will replace Aakhir.
