MUMBAI: Anchor-YouTuber Sahil Khattar who is anchoring Pro Wrestling League had the privilege of meeting and interacting with freestyle wrestler Bajrang Punia. Sahil says that it was an honor to meet him. Recounting the meeting, he says, “On the 26th of January, I got the opportunity to interact with Padmashree-winner Bajrang Punia.

This was on Pro Wrestling League Season 4, which is happening in Greater Noida currently. I asked how it feels to get the title of Padmashree before his name, to which he said that he still wanted to make the country proud.

He also told me that it is such a feeling of pride to get such a title. He said that it felt like all his efforts had been rewarded and when the government recognizes your effort, it means so much.” He adds, “Then Bajrang said that Bajrang Bali ke Naam ki niche sab aashirwaad lena chahate hain and Mera Naam hi Bajrang Hain.” Sahil says that he loved interacting with him. “Bajrang and I had a great conversation. He is very fond of sharing Shero Shaayari. It was fun to meet him. I hope I get to meet him again,” he says.
