MUMBAI: Here we are back with another exciting news from Star Bharat’s upcoming show titled Durga.

Early in the day, we broke the news about Naagin fame Rakshanda Khan has bagged Durga which is produced by acclaimed producer Rashmi Sharma.

Now, as per the latest development, we hear that makers have roped actors namely Sai Ballal and Yashashri Chiplunkar to play pivotal parts in the serial.

Sai Ballal is still recalled for his stint in Colors’ Udann while Yashashri has been part of shows like Pyaar Ka Dard, Santoshi Maa and more.

We could not get through both the actors for a comment.

As per reports, Hamari Bahu Silk fame Chahat Pandey and Palak Purswani, who rose to fame with Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke, will play the lead roles in Durga.

Rashmi Sharma Telefilms are currently producing Shakti on Colors, Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 and Lockdown Ki Love Story on Star Plus and Santoshi Maa - Sunayein Vrat Kathayein on &TV.
