One of the most talented and beautiful actresses on TV, Gautami Kapoor, is soaking in the grand response for her portrayal of Simran Gupta in Sony Entertainment Television’s Parvarrish 2. 

 In a candid conversation with Tellychakkar.com, the actress spoke about her show, challenges, husband Ram Kapoor and more…take a look:

Talking about why she chose the show, Gautami averred, “Season one was a successful concept. It’s about parenting and the relationship between a parent and child. I always wanted to do something different on TV and play a ‘hatke’ mother. I decided to take up the show because it was different and not a regular saas bahu drama. I thank Sony TV and DJ's Creative Unit for such an amazing show.”

The actress shared that although there are pressures of comparison it hasn’t bogged her down. “Pressure is there and we have taken up that challenge. We hope it’s a successful season and paves way to the third one too. It’s a very positive show.”

When we mentioned about everyone eager to see her paired with Ram on TV, she smiled to say, “We would love to work on a show. Even though Ram is away from TV, if we get a good offer, we would definitely think about it.”

And finally when we quizzed her on who does Ram look best with onscreen, Gautami confidently quipped, “I think Sakshi (Tanwar) and Ram make a phenomenal couple. They complement each other.”
