Time to shout out for the young sensation Samridh Bawa!

The actor who impressed us with his acting capabilities in The Buddy Project, Mere Rang Mein and more has signed a new show.

Samridh who was last seen in Gangaa, in the avatar of a young saint, will now get into the skin of a sexy young boy.

The actor has been roped in to play Bhagat in Channel V’s Swim Team (Endemol).

As viewers would know, the character was played by Shekhar Gill earlier. As per sources, owing to his personal commitments, the actor moved out of Swim Team recently.

Shared a source, “The channel and production team approached Samridh as he fits the bill completely. The actor has started shooting and his entry will air sometime next week.”

When we buzzed Samridh, he confirmed the developments. “Yes I am currently in Lonavla shooting for Swim Team. Since I have just started shooting, I cannot share too much about the character.”

With him celebrating his birthday in two days (22 November), we asked if it was an advance birthday gift for him. “I got a call on Diwali and hence it was Diwali gift for me,” smiled the actor.
