Talented actor Sandeep Baswana was last seen on television essaying the street-smart Munna Sharma in Zee TV’s Hitler Didi. Now, he will be back in action in a prominent role, in Colors’ latest offering, Udann. The show produced by Dhawal Gada and Guroudev Bhalla has launched recently. Sandeep who came into the limelight as Sahil Virani of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will essay a positive role, that of an IAS officer. His character will be named Eeshwar Rawat. Earlier in the day, Tellychakkar.com reported about the entry of the Rawat family into the thick of things. We had written about Vijay Aidasani playing the role of Prabhakar Rawat. Sandeep will essay the man’s learned and well-qualified son. Sandeep’s character will more or less be the foster father of the little girl Chakor (Spandan Chaturvedi) who would be sent along with the Rawat family to their home town for upbringing by the Thakur family. Eeshwar Rawat would be very kind and caring towards Chakor. When contacted, Sandeep told us, “It is true that I have been in talks for the role. However, nothing is finalized as of now. I will get back to you if things click.” We tried calling the channel spokesperson, but did not get any reply. Sandeep will start shooting for Udann from 25 August.
