MUMBAI: Colors recently launched the teaser of their upcoming supernatural-based show Sitara. The project, which be based on the concept of a Vishkanya, will be produced by Rashmi Sharma Telefilms.
TellyChakkar was the first one to break the news about the show. We also exclusively reported that Shilpa Sakhlani and Jodha Akbar fame Lavina Tandon have joined the cast to play Vishkanyas (read here: Lavina Tandon joins Shilpa Sakhlani as a 'Vishkanya' in Rashmi Sharma’s next, Sitara).
Now, we have heard that talented actors Sandeep Biswana, who was last seen in Parvarrish - Season 2, Saara Akaash fame Shakti Anandand Falaq Naaz, who is currently seen in RadhaKrishn, are in talks for the show.
According to our sources, if things materialize, Falaq will also be seen as a Vishkanya. Shakti will mostly depict a king, and Sandeep will play Shilpa’s husband in the show.
Sandeep, Shilpa, and Shakti have been part of iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. If things work out, it will be a reunion for them.
