MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.
According to our sources, BBC is coming up with an interesting show tentatively titled Tezpur General Store.
Actors Sandeep Sharma and Chandralekha Mukherjee have been roped in as leads in the show.
A source close to the project revealed that it will be a 52-episode series and will air on a new channel.
The story of the project will revolve around the mysteries of a general store based in Tezpur.
Sandeep was a part of SAB TV’s Khatmal-e-Ishq, and Chandralekha has been a part of several theatre plays.
We couldn’t connect with the actors for their comment.
