The talented Sandhya (Deepika Singh) might be winning laurels at her IPS training academy, but her priority still remains to be her family. And this will soon create an issue in her life in Star Plus’ popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum (Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd). Sooraj (Anas Rashid) and his entire family has been planning the wedding of the youngest daughter of the house, Chhavi (Sehrish Ali). And with relatives from distant places coming together for the event, Bhabho (Neelu Waghela) would expect Sandhya to be in the house during the happy moment. As viewers would know, Bhabho had earlier made it clear to Sandhya that even though she is busy making a career for herself, she should not forget that she is a wife and daughter-in-law first. And keeping all these orders in mind, Sandhya will apply for leave from her institute. Informs a source, “Although cadets will not be allowed to get a leave during their training period, Sandhya will go ahead and apply for it citing personal reasons.” Will she be allowed to go for the wedding? Well, if her officers are left to decide, the answer will be a ‘no’. Officer Singh (Maninee Mishra), who had got to know about Sandhya’s scuffle with men during their outing, will be really angry and will thus not sanction Sandhya’s leave. On the other hand Sooraj and the family will also get to know about this fight through the TV news and they will be shocked to know of it.
