Bigg Boss season 7 is nearing and as reported by Tellychakkar.com, in most certainty, will hit the screens from 14 September (2013).
We also broke the news of Pratyusha Banerjee being roped in as an inmate.
Every year with the season nearing, the maker (Endemol India) approach a cluster of celebs from across fields to participate in the show.
This year too, the scenario is no different with many names being tossed in the air as probable contenders for Bigg Boss season 7.
Some of the names, as per our highly placed source, who may enter the gates of the house of controversy are wrestler Sangram Singh, Rakesh Paul, Kushal Tandon, Adaa Khan and Ali Mercchant’s mother, Salma Mercchant.
Sangram, who is in a relationship with ex Bigg Boss contestant Payal Rohatgi, said, “I have not been approached. It’s a big ticket show and Payal has been a part of it. I can only comment when I get approached.”
Rakesh, again related to another Bigg Boss contestant, his brother Rajev Paul, is also in contention. He was seen in the show last season when he made an appearance, which led to fight between exes Rajev and Delnaaz Irani.
When buzzed Rakesh, he did not reply.
Kushal Tandon of Ek Hazaaron Mein fame (Star Plus) is one name which has the highest chance to enter the series. His current show is ending in September and soon after, he will be seen as an inmate. But when we called him for a confirmation, he denied any such development.
In a rather quirky yet smart move, the makers are also planning to bring in ex Bigg Boss contestant Ali Mercchant’s mother, Salma Merchannt, is what we hear. In season 4 of Bigg Boss, Sara Khan and Ali Mercchant married inside the house (only to part later) and during the conjugal, Salma was seen smiling to the camera.
Ali did not reply to our query but his girlfriend Jinita Sheth shared, “Ali’s family is busy with Ramzaan. I don’t think she will participate.”
Final name that we have come across is Adaa Khan (Amrit Manthan fame). She said to us, “Yes, I have been approached. I have the guts to do something like Khatron Ke Khiladi but Bigg Boss is a different ballgame altogether. I am yet to take a final call.”
