Santa Claus came on the sets last year but didn't gift me anything: Harshita Ojha

Harshita Ojha, who plays little Veera in Star Plus’ Veera (Beyond Dreams Productions Pvt Ltd), may not be having a protective elder brother in real life unlike her onscreen character, however, she is very close to her younger cousin brother Divyansh Ojha who studies in Nursery. The other special tiny tot in her life is her best friend Shivanshi Pandit who is in her play class. Despite fighting with her at times, they are close friends who love to play with each other.

Harshita is a cheerful six-year-old who studies in senior KG in Children’s Academy. She loves to play with Barbie dolls and teddy bears and sketches sceneries with beautiful flowers; her favourite colours being light blue and dark pink. She loves singing Itsy Bitsy Spider… and Sheila Ke Jawani

Like any other child, Harshita dislikes milk but loves junk food. “The doctor has however banned junk food for me as I get skin rashes after having the same. Otherwise, I simply love noodles (especially Maggi) and pizza. Now, I have to have dal, roti, chawl and sabji at home,” she humbly says.

Like he does to other children, does Santa Claus give her gifts on Christmas too? “I know who Santa is as he visited our sets last Christmas. However he didn’t give me any gift. Did he give you gifts,” she asks.

(Later, Harshita’s mother Reema Ojha explained that a journalist had come on to the sets dressed as Santa Claus last year.)

Veera is scared of ghosts. Is Harshita afraid of ghosts too? “Yes, I am scared of ghosts but have never seen one till date. Have you seen one,” she queries?” Does she like ghost stories? “No, not at all,” she replies.

Like all other star kids, Harshita also insists that juggling between school and acting isn’t difficult or tiring. Her mother informs us that she goes to school for three days while she shoots on the remaining four days.

We at Tellychakkar.com wish this small wonder all the best in her studies and acting career.

Harshita darling, Santa must have been wondering what to give you as you are a very GIFTED child! But now that he knows you love Barbie dolls, perhaps there will be a Barbie in your stocking next Christmas!
