Star Plus’ Saraswatichandra, the big ticket show produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been well-accepted by viewers. The romance of Saraswati (Gautam Rode) and Kumud (Jennifer Winget) has caught on with the audience big time, and the channel has been quick enough to cash in on the response received!! As per a recent development, the channel has decided to air Saraswatichandra six days a week instead of five days. From 1 April 2013, the show will air from Monday to Saturday.

The makers are already planning a big highpoint in the story line with Saraswatichandra’s step mother Guman (Monica Bedi) coming to Gujarat. The coming episodes will see Yash’s truth coming out with respect to the Gau Hatya, after which Yash will have to stay put in the village, with Saraswatichandra getting back. The romantic angle between Saraswati and Kumud is presently at its peak, but a major hurdle will soon cross their path. Guman will reveal to one and all that Saraswati does not intend marrying Kumud, but has come to stop the marriage from happening. With this, Saraswati and Kumud’s wedding comes to a halt. We hear that the makers are planning a huge confrontation scene between Guman and Dugba (Ragini Shah) which will have some high-voltage drama.

We tried contacting Jennifer Winget to know more on the track, but could not reach through to her.

Will Saraswati and Kumud get married post the confusion created by Guman?

Enjoy the new twists in Saraswatichandra for six days in a week hereafter.
