MUMBAI : Sargun Mehta is known for her work in various Punjabi films like Qismat and Qismat 2 along with Ammy Virk, Saunkan Saunkne starring Ammy Virk again, Moh, starring Gitaj Bindrakhya and Ghund Kadh Le Ni Sohreyan Da Pind Aa Gaya starring Jasmin Bajwa and Jass Bajwa.

She is also known for her work in Bollywood film Cuttputlli, starring Akshay Kumar and Rakul Preet Singh. The actress currently enjoys 7.8M followers.

The actress began acting in theatre productions of her college and realised her love for acting. Later, while studying for a Master's degree in Business Management, Mehta left it in-between to pursue her career in acting. Eventually, she ventured into television roles by making her small-screen debut in 2009 with Zee TV's 12/24 Karol Bagh. After the programme ended, she shifted to Mumbai.

In January 2011, Mehta featured as the lead protagonist opposite Ajay Chaudhary in Siddharth Tewary's drama series Phulwa on Colors TV, in which she played the title role. This was her break-through performance and the household stardom she received for it was magnus. It's story was loosely based on the life of Phoolan Devi, the dacoit who turned a politician.

She was also seen in Ekta Kapoor's Kya Huaa Tera Vaada and was cast as a grown-up Bulbul, who played the role of a journalist.

Sargun got married to the very famous Ravi Dubey on 7th December 2013. Now, the couple have their own production house named ‘Dreamiyata Productions’, through which they have launched some amazing shows and all of the story concepts are loved by the audience.
