MUMBAI: Star Plus' show Yeh Hai Chahatein is a spin-off of the popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein which ran for many years on the small screen.

Yeh Hai Chahatein recently completed a year and it was celebration time for the entire cast and crew of the show.

We all know Sargun Kaur Luthra and Abrar Qazi play the lead roles on the show. Sargun as Preesha and Abrar as Rudra have done total justice to their roles.

Sargun who is quite young is seen portraying the role of a mother on-screen. The viewers are seeing her as Saransh's mother on the show.

While many actresses have kept themselves away from portraying a mother's role on-screen, Sargun has broken a major stereotype by taking up this role.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, we asked Sargun if she were sceptical about taking up such a role and to this, she gave a great response.

Sargun said, "This all depends on the character and the way one portrays it."

The actress added, "Preesha's character is shown responsible. She is not only like a mother to Saransh but also a friend. I never felt complex about playing a mom on-screen. I am loving my character and how I play the mother of a child."

Well, Sargun has been brilliantly portraying the role of Preesha on the show and fans are loving her performance.
