Shashi-Sumeet Mittal’s show Punar Vivah, scheduled to air on Zee TV, has been hogging the limelight as the show marks the comeback of Indian Television’s two popular stars, Gurmeet Choudhary and Kratika Sengar. And now Tellychakkar.com has got more news from this front. Buzz is that Sarwar Ahuja who was last seen in Keshav Pandit and Geeta Tyagi who was seen in Chand Chupa Badal Mein have been finalized to play important roles in the show.
Sarwar Ahuja will play husband to the female lead, Kratika Sengar, whereas Geeta Tyagi will essay the role of Kratika’s mother-in-law and she will be paired opposite Amit Singh Thakur.
Tellychakkar.com contacted Geeta Tyagi, who confirmed the news and said, "It’s a very different love story and I will be playing the female lead's mother-in-law. She is very balanced as a person. If she highlights the negative points of her son, then she also makes sure that her speaks of her daughter-in-law’s positive points. Overall, I would say it is a very good character.”
Sarwar Ahuja, on the other hand, remained unavailable for comments.
