Saurabh Raaj Jain is presently enjoying his dual stint of playing Lord Krishna in Swastik Productions’ Mahabharat on Star Plus and also on Triangle Film Company’s Devon Ke Dev.. Mahadev on Life OK.
And now the actor will get to play 10 different avatars for a particular sequence in Mahabharat, that will scare Duryodhan (Arpit Ranka) out of his wits.
The sequence will be a pre-war one wherein Duryodhan will see the face of Krishna in literally everyone present around him including himself.
A source states, “Krishna will don the look of Bheeshm, Drona, Shakuni, Karn, Dhritarashtra, Sanjay, Vidhur, two sainiks and the Mantri. Basically, everyone who would be before Duryodhan will appear as Krishna to him.”
We hear that Saurabh, who is a class-act, had to wear every character’s attire. For some of the looks, he had to put on their beard and moustache which made it tough for him. The actor took nearly 45 minutes to one hour to get into the look and feel of each character.
When contacted, Saurabh told Tellychakkar.com, “I simply enjoyed playing so many characters. I enjoyed the most being Shakuni mama though (laughs), mainly because I had to sport that evil look.”
