Sachin Khot has had a remarkable journey as Director with Life OK’s Savdhan India, having directed their stories for more than three and half years now. Ever since the show’s inception, Sachin Khot has been the director in demand for stories produced by Fremantle Media, Rowdy Rascals, Saregama Productions and Jaasvand Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. 

Now, it is time for the ace director to don the hat of a Producer and think big!! Along with his wife Mona Sareen Khot, he picks up the mantle of production under his banner, Black Swan Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. 

To tell you more about Khot and his vast experience, his first show as director on TV was the successful DD show, Shanti. He has gone on to direct many shows for TV, but has kept himself away from the daily soap scenario. 

Black Swan Entertainment will now produce episodics for Savdhan India. The episodics produced under this banner will be directed by Khot himself. The best part about these stories will be that they will be shot in Delhi, and not in Mumbai. And Khot believes that this will provide a new fresh appeal in terms of the locations and cast. 

When contacted, Sachin Khot told Tellychakkar.com, “Well, I have been a part of Savdhan India from its inception days. And now to produce for them, will be a new challenge. The team of Savdhan has always appreciated my work as director, and have counted on me. And with the idea of getting into production coming, things fell in place. We will be bringing in fresh talent in terms of actors based out in Delhi. Also, shooting in newer locales of Delhi will give Savdhan India more freshness.”

On trying his luck in the daily soap genre as producer, Khot said, “I am a person with a lot of film sense, and individual stories have always appealed to me. I like being part of the finite series, wherein we know the start and end.”

On the symbolic name for his company Black Swan, the Producer said, “It signifies being a precursor for the change to occur. So we will be happy to usher in the change in whatever we try to do in our company, be it in films or on TV.”

The first episodic of Black Swan Entertainment for Savdhan India will deal with the tale of an old man who in spite of his heart ailment will decide to fly out of the country with his daughter, for her new living. However, he will be subjected to something unexpected, when his daughter will go missing from the airport, exactly on the day when they would be flying. The story will then open up the fact of the daughter being kidnapped, and how the father will overcome all problems to save his daughter. The episodic will be aired sometime next week.
