Savdhan India, produced by Contiloe Entertainment for Life OK which is a campaign against crime and violence in India has caught up with the masses, and the awakening caused by the real life cases portrayed in the show have got an amazing response. Taking their effort to draw the attention of the nation further, the team of Savdhan India will now show the very-talked about Bijal Joshi gang rape case. For the uninitiated, Bijal Joshi was gang raped in a posh hotel in Ahmedabad in the year 2003. The girl later committed suicide in 2004. When contacted, the anchor of the show, Gaurav Chopraa had this to say, “Savdhan India shows the viewers a story, a journey and then gives a lesson to learn. At various points in the story, we give a message to the audience that this unfortunate event could have been avoided if a certain incident had been handled better. In Bijal’s case, we do show various points where, if the girl had been bit more careful, the tragedy could have been avoided.” We hear that the shoot for this particular episode is going on at the moment and the episode will be aired early next week.
