Star Plus' latest offering, ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahaani’, which was launched in December, has been winning the hearts of the viewers for its intriguing storyline. 

Recently, we reported about actress Kirron Arya entering the show. 

Now, the latest buzz is that Shaadi Mubarak actress Ayushi Bhatia has also bagged the show. 

Sources tell us that Ayushi will play Anokhi’s best friend in the show. 

We contacted Ayushi to seek confirmation on the buzz but she remained unavailable for comment. 

The story of the show is about Anokhi Bhalla (played by Debattama Saha) an ordinary, young girl from a small town of Punjab who has very ordinary dreams like having a career and becoming independent. However, she faces numerous challenges from the deeply patriarchal and chauvinistic society. 

The series is a remake of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Mohor. 

Karanvir Sharma (Shaurya Sabharwal) and Debattama Saha (Anokhi) are essaying the lead roles in the show. 

The show also features talented actors like Sooraj Thapar, Pankaj Kalra, Pyumori Ghosh, Khalid Siddiqui, Deepa Parab, Harsh Vashisht, Reema Worah, Falaq Naaz, Bhavna Chauhan, Eva Shirali, and Anuj Kohli in pivotal roles.
