MUMBAI: Rajeshwari Sachdev is a renowned actress. Her fans were elated when she joined the team of the TV show Shaadi Mubarak. Her entry in the show as Kusum Kothari had everyone in splits with her comic timing, but unfortunately, curtains seem to have been drawn for her character. Well, if rumours are to be believed, actress Rajeshwari Sachdev has quit Shaadi Mubarak.
A source told Times Of India, “She was not at all happy with her track on the show and had tried to tell the makers about the same on several occasions. In fact, she has not been coming on the sets for the past month and has not been shooting. She was quite upset because of her character not shaping up the way it was told to her. So in the show, they have shown that she has gone abroad for treatment, which in itself is a hint that she isn't a part of the show anymore. However, the makers are not searching for her replacement yet."
When Rajeshwari was contacted, she did not divulge much about the news, but said, "I have taken a break from the show for some time." When asked what she is then doing with all the free time she has and she shared, "It is my birthday today and I am uploading my son's examination sheet online on his account. For a technologically challenged me, all this is very very tough. I have no idea about the online classes and my heartbeat really goes up when my son sits for his class and he has an exam and I have to do all this. Apart from this, I have also signed up for a project for the OTT platform."
