It’s time to sweat, folks…Shaleen Bhanot, for the very first time will be seen in a bare-body stunt sequence in Ravi Ojha Productions’ show on Star Plus, Sajda Tere Pyar Mein. As per the story, Ranveer (Shaleen Bhanot) has lost a consignment against Mahendra Pratap (Rohit Roy) and is angered by it. In addition to this, Ranveer for the first time feels emotionally attracted towards Aalia (Deblina Chatterjee), as he feels that he is sacrificing a young and innocent girl by using her to fight crime. At this very juncture, the makers have shot a stunt sequence wherein the ‘angry man’ Ranveer goes through his emotions by practicing some fight sequences (a mix of boxing, kick-boxing, Taekwondo and stunt with fire). And to top it all, Shaleen did not use body doubles to shoot it; he practiced the stunts and body positions with the help of a stunt trainer. Talking about the sequence, Shaleen shares with Tellychakkar.com, “Yes, it was fun shooting this particular sequence. All credit for this scene goes to my creative Madhura; she was the one who wanted the sequence and made me believe that I can do it. The scene has bit of boxing involved, some Taekwondo movements and a stunt where I twist and turn my hands holding a stick which has fire on both sides. To tell you all, this is the first time that I have shot for a bare-body sequence. In between shots, I trained a lot and also hit the gym regularly during the shoot to maintain my physique.” Tell him that this particular sequence will be too hot for girls to handle, Shaleen in his usual witty tone says, “It will be too hot for them, but I was feeling really cold while shooting the sequence (laughs). The AC was full-on, and water was being poured on me continuously while doing this scene. Nevertheless, I have heard the scene has come out well, and I am now waiting for the audience to give their feedback.” The sequence will go on air in tonight’s (30 April 2012) episode of Sajda Tere Pyar Mein… Way to go, Shaleen!!
