Pretty actress Shalini S Sahuta believes that every woman has the right to ‘pamper’ herself with the best of facilities as they deserve the best!! A fitness freak herself, Shalini loves to take care of her nails, hair and get the best of make-up done.

Well, carrying forward her passion, Shalini now owns a salon at Off Carter Road, named ‘aloha’. Aptly, alohaa means ‘welcome’ in Hawaii. 

The idea of opening a salon did come to her through social networking sites, when few of her non-actor friends tossed the idea to her. 

Says Shalini, “I never thought I would ever open a salon. But my passion to keep trim with the best of make-up urged me to take this up. Also, a lot of my female fans used to ask me for style, hair and beauty tips on social networking sites. They would jokingly tell me to open a salon. I love making people beautiful and this is my way of showering love, stylizing and beautifying people. We Indians are so beautiful in our own way, but many of us don’t love ourselves. I believe that each one of us from working women to housewives, should take time out and pamper themselves as we deserve it.”

Talking about her salon, Shalini explains, “We help you choose the best that suits you based on your personality. Alohaa is a one-stop shop for your nails, hair, beauty and make-up. In short, at Alohaa, you will enjoy a luxurious mini tropical vacation. We also do natural pedicures and manicures that include real milk and honey.”

Describing the very unique factor in the salon, she says, “People have loved our services, especially our pink décor. Since it is a unisex salon, many of my friends advised me to not opt for pink ambience. However, I am very happy that even guys love it.”

On her future plan, the girl quips, “After Sasural Simar Ka and Date Knight, I took a month’s break to set up my salon. Now that my salon is set, I am ready to take up a daily soap (smiles).”
