Shantanu Maheshwari, who essays the role of Swayam in Channel [V]’s Dil Dostii Dance, produced by Cinevistaas Ltd has indeed been on the firing line for some time now, what with reports of the ex-Project Head on the show, Palki Malhotra being biased towards him. And the one name that was repeatedly dragged into the concoction for all the wrong reasons was of Shantanu’s. So how does Shantanu feel about the entire turmoil that prevailed on the sets of D3? Shantanu without beating around the bush expressed his dis-satisfaction over Palki’s exit from the team. “I feel bad that the creative has quit the show and I would also like to say that it is sheer injustice which has happened to Palki Malhotra as I do not think she was biased towards anyone. In fact, I do not know from where all this rumours came from? It is an uncomfortable feeling for me to talk about this, as the person who made the show a hit is being asked to call it quits.” Wishing Palki all the success, her good friend Shantanu says, “I wish her all the success in life. She is a bag full of talent and is a very good and knowledgeable person. Whatever happened to her, I would say is unfair and I feel even other people would agree to it. I will indeed miss her on the sets of Dil Dostii Dance.” Favoritism, is it? Is it not? These talks will never die down.
