MUMBAI: Shashi Sumeet Production is known for bringing unique kind of shows changing the dynamics of TV. They have earlier produced popular dramas like Diya Aur Baati Hum, Punar Vivah, Main Lakshmi Tere Aangan Ki, Ye Unn Dinon Ki Baat Hai and many others and it now seems to be working on a new show for Colors.
According to the reports, the production house is set to roll out a new show based on child marriage and have roped in actress Arina Dey, who was seen in Star Bharat’s Musakaan. Arina will portray female lead’s mother.

Our sources inform that young actor Pravisht Mishra, best known for his roles in Suryaputra Karn, Mahabharat and last seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, has been roped in the depict the male lead who will be shown getting married at a young age.
We could not get through Pravisht for a comment.
Viewers have witnessed a show based on child marriage titled Balika Vadhu (Sphere Origins) which is considered as one of the cult shows on Indian television. Balika Vadhu featured Avika Gor and Avinash Mishra who played the roles of Anandi and Jagya respectively, who were married in childhood.
Shashi Sumeet Productions is currently producing Dar Ki Dastak on Dangal and Shubh Aarambh on Colors.
