MUMBAI: Prior to entering television, Parth Samthaan worked in a variety of regional short films and was appreciated for his performance for one of his YouTube films, The Last Bet. The man soon started creating waves in the television space with shows like Pyar Tune Kya Kiya and MTV Campus Diaries. Soon, he bagged a full-fledged role in MTV show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan.

Paired opposite Niti Taylor, Parth gained immense popularity and love for his role. So much so that after the show went off-air, there were petitions signed requesting him to make a comeback with a new season of the show. The series revolved around the story of five friends who formed Fab 5, a musical group in the coolest college of the city, and strived to achieve their goals and battled issues of the heart along the way.

Parth played the character of Manik, a boy-next-door. When the news about him playing Mr. Anurag Basu was out, people had inhibitions and started commenting on how they’d rather watch him romance Niti Taylor than see him in Kasautii.

But, but, but! Parth, yet again, has convinced people that he can fit into almost any character as he is blessed with a talent for acting.

Parth comes across as a man who has a good head over his shoulders in Kasautii. He comfortably slid into the character of Anurag, and his chemistry with Erica is much adored. Even as a matured character, we are sure Parth is every girl’s dream boy.
