MUMBAI :Indian Tennis star Sania Mirza’s marriage to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik has been under the radar for quite some time. Now their divorce rumors have become the talk of the town but neither of them had commented on it till now.

According to a news portal, the cricketer has finally broken his silence on the rumors and reportedly said, “It is our personal matter. Neither I nor my wife is answering this question. Leave it alone.”

Reportedly a close friend of the couple had earlier said that the duo were already separated and are now heading for divorce. Also, a source close to Malik’s management also reportedly said, “Yes, they are officially divorced now. I can’t disclose more than that but can confirm that they have separated.”

For the uninitiated, a close friend reportedly claimed that the couple would be divorced soon as the two are already separated. Another confirmation of their divorce was given by a team member of Shoaib Malik’s management department. According to the reports by InsideSport, the member said, “Yes, they are officially divorced now. I can’t disclose more than that but can confirm that they have separated."

Sania recently sparked trouble in paradise when she posted a cryptic message on her social media saying, “You are human made of light and dark. Love yourself enough to allow being a little fragile. Learn to give yourself a break on days when your heart feels at its heaviest.”

Meanwhile last month Shoaib posted a sweet message for Sania on her birthday. However when she posted pictures of her birthday party, he wasn’t anywhere to be seen.
 

The couple had earlier last month announced their reality show The Mirza Malik show on the OTT platform Urduflix. Sharing a poster featuring the duo, the platform shared, “The Mirza Malik Show very soon only on Urduflix.”

Sania and Shoaib tied the knot in 2010 and have a four year old son named Izhann.
