MUMBAI: Weeks after his accusations on Shweta Tiwari, her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli has come out to give an update to fans about his case.

Abhinav took to his Instagram handle and shared a few updates about the flow of events related to the case filed against Shweta. He revealed that going by the procedure to be followed he had filed an application in the court a month ago but there has been no reply from Shweta’s side.

Further, talking about the court's hearing, Abhinav shared that it has been getting postponed since June 3 and he has had no luck with the hearing to date. Being hopeful of being heard in the court on June 14, he said, “Shayad 14 June ko mere bete ko uske papa se milne ka number lag jaye, hopefully.”.

He also mentioned the letter that he received from the National Commission of Women. Abhinav showed his gratitude towards DGP Maharashtra and Mumbai police for not taking any action against him and understanding his situation. He thanked NCW for not troubling him.

Moving ahead, Abhinav thanked his fans and followers for supporting him. “Wo raat kayamat ki raat thi jis din mere pe physical abuse aur mere bacche pe traumatize ka aarop laga tha tab.”, he added.

Abhinav further said that he gets hope and strength to fight for justice due to the support that he has been getting from fans.

For the unversed, Abhinav accused Shweta of leaving their son alone in a hotel and flying off to Cape Town for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’s shoot. Moreover, he also cited that Shweta snatched his son from him.

Following his allegations, Shweta shared CCTV footage that showed Abhinav snatching son Ryansh from her. The events in the video also showed Reyansh being scared of his father. The actress deleted the video later.

After the accusations and allegations, Abhinav had filed a case against Shweta. 

In an interaction, post these incidents, Abhinav said, “I am just waiting to have a normal life with my son like every father has and like how I had with my father.".
