MUMBAI: Host and actor Maniesh Paul launched his own show, 'The Maniesh Paul Podcast' on his YouTube channel where he chats with people from different walks of life. However, Maniesh recently welcomed the first celebrity on his show as his old friend Bharti Singh. Well, when two comedians meet each other, fireworks are bound to happen. Owing to the affectionate bond shared by the duo, Bharti put forth various aspects of her life, without any hesitation. The comedienne unravelled various secrets of her life on the show.

Right from narrating an emotional tale of friendship between her and Maniesh to a horrifying story that she experienced during the initial days of her career, she spoke her heart out. Speaking about the latter part, amidst her conversation with Paul, Bharti revealed how the shows’ coordinators misbehaved with her and how she was inappropriately touched by them. Recalling the incident, she cited that she had no understanding of the same back then.

“The coordinators (of shows) misbehaved sometimes. They would rub their hands on the back. I would know it’s not a good feeling, but then I would think that he’s like my uncle, he can’t be bad. Maybe I am wrong, and he is right. So, I thought this doesn’t feel right. I had no understanding,” she told the host.

“I have the confidence to fight now, for my body, for my honour. I can now say, 'what is the matter, what are you looking at? Go out; we are changing now'. I can speak up now, but I had no courage back then,” she added.
