MUMBAI: The pandemic has affected the entertainment industry a lot in every way.

Last year, the shootings were halted for almost 4 months as a complete lockdown was imposed by the government due to the surge in COVID cases.

This had affected a lot of television shows that never made it back to the screens after the lockdown.

The second wave of COVID also affected many shows which went off-air in the past few months of the year 2021.

The latest we hear is that Voot Select's Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 is also set to say goodbye to the small screens.

Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 stars Rrahul Sudhir, Helly Shah, and Vishal Vashistha in the lead roles.

The show was immensely successful on TV and was shifted to an OTT platform sometime back. The show also stars Zayn Ibad Khan, Manasvi Vashist, and Chandni Sharma among others.

The main USP of the show were its countless twists and turns which keep you on the edge of your seat. The title song is also super catchy and really adds to the show's suspenseful atmosphere. The themes of passion, revenge, and jealousy of IMM2 has really worked for the show and fans.

The show retained audiences at 7 PM on TV and OTT. Recently, Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 completed 300 episodes.

The first season of the show starring Arjun Bijlani, Alisha Panwar, and Nia Sharma had a very good run for two years from 2017-2019. A reliable source told an entertainment portal that the show is winding up by July first week.  

The production house is coming up with a new season of Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3 with Shaheer Shaikh, Erica Fernandes, and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
