MUMBAI: Shikha Singh (35) who welcomed baby girl Alayna just over a year ago, has currently taken a break.

The famous television show 'Kumkum Bhagya' fame Shikha Singh, who plays the role of Aaliya in the daily soap, has been at the receiving end of online hate and criticism after the actress posted a topless picture on her Instagram on Wednesday. 

Shikha Singh was last spotted in 'Laal Ishq'. Previously she has appeared in several shows like 'Kundali Bhagya', 'Pyaar Ho Jaane Do', 'Mahabharat' to name a few.

Shikha often shares photos and videos with her daughter, updating her loyal fan base about her personal life updates. She even shared pictures from Alayna's first birthday.  

But it is Shikha's recent photo in which she is seen posing topless that has gone viral on the internet and attracted a lot of criticism and hate. 

In the picture, Shikha Singh can be seen lying down on the bed that is covered in white linen while she is resting on her stomach covering her modesty with a pillow placed in front of her. However, her toned arms and bareback is visible in the picture. Hair styled in side-parting and a dash of bold red on the lips completed Shikha's look. 

Sharing the snaps she wrote the caption as "Theme of the night was Red"

As soon as Shikha shared the photo, while her friends from the industry showered their love on the post, a section of internet users trolled her. 

Actress Ashita Dhawan dropped fire emojis in the comments section, while her 'Kumkum Bhagya' co-star Sriti Jha wrote, "Ab Mai ghar aajau?" 

The trolls commented, "Ma'am, at least we didn't expect this from you." "Didn't expect this," wrote another, "Ye expect nhi kiya tha apse," commented yet another Instagram user. "Yeah sahi nahi hai," said another user in the comments section of the post. 

Shikha Singh was last seen in 'Laal Ishq'. Previously she has appeared in several shows like 'Kundali Bhagya', 'Pyaar Ho Jaane Do', 'Mahabharat' to name a few.
