MUMBAI: Sneha Jain is popularly known for role as Gehna on Star Plus show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2. Her acting skills have the audience quite pleased. But Sneha has revealed about her early struggles and said that she had to deal with the casting couch. 

In a recent interview with ETimes TV, she announced that she had landed a major role as the hero's girlfriend in a major show. After six days, she learned that she had been replaced by another actor.

She also recalled an occasion in which she received a call from a casting director in the South offering her a role in a film about college students.

She was asked to provide her resume and photos, as well as go to Hyderabad to meet with the director and producer.  Sneha said , “ Once I got a call from a South's casting director, he offered me a film which was about college going students. He told me that there will be three couples and they all have equally important roles in the films. I sent them my profile and photographs and the next day I got a call from him saying that I will have to travel to Hyderabad to meet the director and the producer.”

She consented to fly with her mother, but when they arrived in Hyderabad, the casting director demanded that she compromise, which surprised her.

She also mentioned, “The casting director told me that there is one condition that I have to compromise with him. I was shocked."

Sneha also revealed that the director told her the day she would reach Hyderabad she would be given hotel details where she will meet the director.

She said , “ After I sign the contract papers, he will give me half the amount then and there for which I will be signed. He further told me that the entire day I have to spend with the director and do whatever he says and after I complete 50 percent of the film, the rest I will be paid.”

Sneha was shocked and told him straight away that this is wrong and she cannot be a part of such a project. The casting director also yelled at Sneha, telling her that it is not a big deal and everyone does it.  He also called her after a week again and told her that the deal is still on. But she lashed at him and asked him to stop calling her.
