Shocking! Servant poisons TV actress and family

Garima Goel

Television actress Garima Goel, who has featured in crime-based shows like Savdhan India and Crime Patrol, would have never imagined that such a heinous crime would occur to her in real life.

Garima, currently on a cameo stint on SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta, fell victim to an attempted murder and robbery recently.

On Wednesday (February 24), like other days, Garima, her husband Dharmesh, their kid Aashray and her brother Raghav sat down for dinner at home. After having a couple of bites Garima and her husband started complaining of stomach ache.

Her brother Raghav, luckily had not touched the food. Finding their condition suspicious, he swiftly called the ambulance for medical aid.

Talking about the mishap, Garima exclusively told Tellychakkar, “The food, which was cooked by our servant Santosh, tasted unusual and the colour was also a bit different. After eating a little, we became unconscious. I felt as if someone was choking my throat and I could not breathe properly. Even my husband complained of a paralytic attack. Luckily, my brother did not eat the food, so he called an ambulance for help.”

She continued, “First we were taken to Hinduja hospital and were later shifted to Lilavati hospital. With God’s grace, we are fine, but it will take a few days for the poison to completely wash out from our systems.”

So, who do you think was behind the entire accident? “It was my servant Santosh and his motive was to spike our food and rob the house. After the incident, he went missing, but the police caught him near Nashik. He is right now behind the bars and strict actions will be taken against him.”

The actress, who’s still in shock about the incident added, “Thank God we are out of danger. We are back home and recuperating well.”

Take care, Garima!
