MUMBAI: Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, and the story has kept the audiences hooked. 

The show is produced under the banner of DJ's A Creative Unit and airs on Star Plus. It stars Debattama Saha and Karanvir Sharma. 

The audiences love to watch the love story between Anokhi and Shaurya, and the twist and turns in their life are quite interesting. 

The character of Anokhi is that of a strong woman who stands for the right and fights and takes a stand for herself. She is a spirited girl and is not afraid of anyone. 

But did you know that before the makers finalized Debattama Saha, it was offered to a few actresses who refused the role?

2. Shradda Tiwari

Sharada was offered the role for which she had given an audition, but post that, the makers thought that she didn’t fit the bill and things didn’t work out. 

3. Vaibhavi Kapoor

Vaibhavi is known for her character in the serial Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka. The actress was offered the role of Anokhi but rejected the project as she was busy with some other commitments. 

4. Mansi Salvi

Mansi is a well-known actress in the world of television. She is known for her characters like Kohi Apna Sa, Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, and Papa By Chance. She too was offered the role of Anokhi, but since she demanded a high fee, things didn’t work out well between her and the makers. 

5. Parvati Sehgal

Parvati is known for her role as Komal in the TV serial Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya. When she was offered the role of Anokhi. She was eager to do the role, but when she auditioned, the makers thought that she didn’t fit the bill. 

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Debattama Saha, and fans feel she is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Anoki the way she does.
