Shooting of Kaun Banega Crorepati and other shows to begin by next month

MUMBAI: Ever since the lockdown has been announced, the shooting of all the films, TV shows, and web-series has come to a halt. We are beings served with the old episodes on TV. However, here's some good news. Reportedly, the makers of TV shows will be able to resume the shooting of the shows by the end of June. However, they'll have to follow the guidelines set by FWICE.

According to the reports, Ekta Kapoor's shows, Kaun Banega Crorepati, Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, and a few other shows will begin their shooting by June-end. BN Tiwari, the president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employee (FWICE), confirmed to India Today. In that they have set some rules for the producers of the TV shows who want to begin the shooting of their serials.

As per the guidelines set, producers will have to work with only 50 percent of the staff on the sets. They'll have to keep the staff on rotational timings. FWICE has started training everyone on how to wear a mask and use sanitiser and to ensure that everyone follows this protocol, an inspector will be available on the sets.

Next, the producers and the channel are to compensate the families of workers with Rs 50 lakhs in case someone dies of novel coronavirus. While producers are to give Rs 30 to 40 lakh to workers families in case of accidental death on sets, FWICE has made Rs 50 lakhd as minimum compensation. Plus, the channel and producers are also to take care of the medical expenses of the worker.

People aged above 50 have been asked to stay at home as they are more prone to coronavirus due to their age. Also, an ambulance has to be always available on the sets.
