With shoots coming to a halt in Mumbai, this is how Kundali Bhagya, Kumkum Bhagya, Molkki, Yeh Hai Chahatein Bawara Dil, Barrister Babu, and Shakti will shoot upcoming episodes

The lockdown and curfew restrictions are making it difficult for the television industry to shoot and telecast their episodes.

MUMBAI: We have seen the sudden rise of COVID cases in Maharashtra from the past one month.

Unfortunately, the entire nation is battling this virus, and the government is in a fix as to what to do.

With many industries getting affected, the entertainment business has also taken a hit, with a lot of actors from Bollywood and television testing COVID positive.

There has been a debate on social media where people said that shooting in the entertainment business should be stopped.

Yesterday, the Maharashtra government announced that shooting for television, Bollywood, and ads is prohibited for a month until May 1.

Not every serial has bank episodes to telecast, and thus, the production house has decided to shift base from Mumbai to continue the shoot.

As per media reports, it seems that Ekta Kapoor’s serials like Kumkum Bhagya, Kundali Bhagya, Molkki, and Prem Bandhan will shift their shooting base to Goa, though there is no confirmation about the same.

On the other hand, Bawara Dil, Barrister Babu, and Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki will use their bank stories and have not yet decided to shift base for shooting.

The television *industry is finding it difficult to shoot episodes, but production houses are coming up with ideas to continue.
