Shraddha Arya manages to forego her 'phobia for heights' for a sequence in Tumhari Paakhi

Shraddha Arya
Shashi-Sumeet Productions Pvt. Ltd’s Tumhari Paakhi, the to-be-launched show on Life OK is bagging all the limelight of late. Recently, we wrote about the heartthrob Iqbal Khan being mobbed by a huge fan-following in Rajasthan. And now, we hear that the lead actress in the show, Shraddha Arya is putting in some great work to look her best on screen. A source from the show told us that Shraddha was to shoot for a tough sequence recently, wherein she had to go to the top of an under-construction building to share a romantic moment with her man in the show, Iqbal Khan. The scene indeed sounds simple, but what if you have a phobia for heights? Well, this is exactly what troubled Shraddha. However, we hear that the lady carried off the scene to perfection, as she wanted to give in her best. We contacted Shraddha to know of this, and she said, “Yes, I actually feel uneasy and giddy when I am at a height. In this particular scene, though we were not shooting too high, I had to use the uncovered lift that you usually have at construction sites. Remember the scene wherein Madhuri Dixit goes to meet Aamir Khan in the movie Dil when he is on top of an under-construction building? I had to use a lift which was even worse than what was used in the movie. It had only a base to stand on, with it being open on all sides. Only one person is usually allowed to go on the lift, but according to the scene, there was one more person with me. And as the lift went up, we could not move to any side, because of the danger of slipping and landing on the ropes. It was scary, but somehow I pulled it off. The scene has come out well. After all, work is work and I had to forego my scare for heights for this particular scene.” Hmm, this shows you are a perfectionist, Shraddha!!!
