Pintoo Guha and Rupali Guha’s FilmFarm India has given quite a lot of popular dramas to Indian television. Now, the production house is on the verge of planning an entertaining program for kids, on the Disney channel.
We hear that the makers have shot the pilot for the show, and will be starting shoot for the same in the next few months. The yet untitled show will have a good mix of known television personalities and young faces.
A reliable source tells us that talented actors Shruti Ulfat, Manoj Pahwa and Rinku Karmarkar will essay integral roles in the project.
The story will be about two families who get caught into situational comedy. While Ulfat will play the main lady in one family, Rinku will be seen as the lady of the other household. Famous Bollywood actor Manoj Pahwa, who was recently seen in the movie Dedh Ishqiya, will play interesting multiple characters in the show, and he will be seen popping up in new avatars now and then.
When contacted, Shruti Ulfat told us, “Yes, I have shot for a pilot for FilmFarm’s show on Disney. However, I do not have much detail on it.”
We tried talking to Producer Pintoo Guha, but he remained out of reach. We could not talk to Rinku too.
