MUMBAI: TellyChakkar is back with an interesting update from the world of television.

The show was launched on TV on 8 March 2021. The promos looked extremely promising, and the first few episodes have been loved by viewers.

Lead actor Shubhashish Jha is one of the new actors who joined the show.

TellyChakkar got in touch with Shubhashish to know more about what made him sign the show. In a candid chat with us, Shubhashish said, “First and foremost, I was keen on taking up this show because of the genre. I always wished to be a part of a show based on comedy as a genre. In my real life, I believe I have a good sense of humour, and I like people who can sportingly take a funny jibe at themselves and give a decent comeback on the same. I was glad to be a part of the show as it will enable me to use the spontaneity and presence of mind on-screen and to do the same gives me a different kind of happiness."

He further added, “Sony SAB is not only my favourite channel, but also a lot of people around me adore the content on the channel. To top it all, we have Edit II as the production house, which has given many popular shows, and the atmosphere on their sets are always quite good and encouraging."

He added, “Having said that, one of the biggest reasons for doing the show has been Mr. Shashank Bali. He is the master of comedy, and I realised I’ll only learn and grow as an actor under his guidance, if I take up the opportunity”.
