MUMBAI: The country is dealing with a crisis because of the deadly Coronavirus. To deal with the situation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the nation-wide-lockdown for 21 days.
In his speech, Modi mentioned that this seems to be the only solution to curb the spreading of the virus. He also mentioned that to break the cycle of COVID-19, social distancing shall be practised by all. The decision has been appreciated by celebs and many took to social media to express their thoughts.
Sidharth Shukla, who won season 13 of Bigg Boss, wrote on his social media handle, “Be safe and stay at home for yourself and your family! #21Days #21daysLockdown”. Hacked actress Hina Khan wrote on her account, “Dear All, Instantaneous Panic Buying with the motive of hoarding essentials will or may result in someone needy go without it, which can be fatal for them n for the people surrounding them. Desperate people will take desperate steps and I m sure no one intends that…” Apart from Sidharth Shukla and Hina Khan, many other celebs took to social media to speak about the same.
