Actress Simran Kaur Suri, wife of actor Krrip Kapur Suri is reeling in pain!!

Simran, who is presently seen in the &TV show Santoshi Maa in the character of Sweety, has suffered a fracture in her right thumb.

Krrip and Simran were in Indore recently when a freaky accident resulted in damage on her right thumb. She is now on complete bed rest, is what we hear.

When contacted, Simran told us, “Yes, in Indore, like a super woman, I tried to pull my big bag off the belt at the airport. I got hurt badly on my right thumb, but thought it was just a muscle pull and ignored the injury. By the time we got back to Mumbai, it worsened and the doctor said it was a fracture. Now for 20 days, the plaster will be there and the thumb needs complete rest.”

This has put her shoot schedule for Santoshi Maa on hold at the moment. “I actually have no idea what’s happening there, as I have not reported to shoot after my injury. But I believe that whatever happens, happens for good.”

Simran is a complete romantic at heart, and will want to play a romantic role on screen too. 

On her husband Krrip being a great support system at work, she averred, “My acting gurus will always be my husband and Alka Amin Mam. They guided me to face the camera for the first time. My husband has always supported me and motivated me to become an actor and I am still learning from him. I am blessed to have him as my life partner.”
